Mark McQuillan & Jack Ross

Mark McQuillan and Jack Ross are both up and coming musicians in the London Jazz scene. Having met at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, they have been close musical collaborators in a variety of settings. Jack has appeared with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Ibiza Orchestra as well as afrobeat artist Asake. Mark has performed at Jazz in the Round and recently led gamerjazz, his sextet which also features Jack on trumpet, in a set at Milton Court as part of the London Jazz Festival. This intimate duo setting allows both to stretch out musically and explore the possibilities of improvisation in the context of familiar jazz tunes and songbook standards.
