Mandalakia Band

Mandalakia are a quartet performing Greek rebetiko approached with a fresh perspective, exchanging and blending sounds and rhythms from Anatolia and eastern Mediterranean. The ensemble features Dunja Botic on vocals and percussion, an acclaimed singer with roots in Eastern European and Near Eastern European music. She will be joined by Tim Karp on guitar Kostandinos Glinos on Kanun and Oliver Dover on clarinet, a truly talented and exciting group of musicians that clearly share a passionate connection to this very special music.
